Ventura Distribution is bringing you The Last Broadcast
Many of you will certainly remember the huge controversy surrounding The Blair Witch Project and its alleged plagiarizing of a film called The Last Broadcast that was released some time before the highly successful “Blair Witch” – although both films seem to have derivated many of their ideas from yet another movie, an 80s flick called “Cannibal Holcaust”.
Soon you will be able to judge for yourself how close The Last Broadcast and The Blair Witch Project really are. Ventura Distribution, a new DVD publisher just informed us that the company will release “The Last Broadcast” on DVD on November 30. This 87 minute feature film tells the story of a group of young men who went into the Pine Barrens of New Jersey, planning a live broadcast of their search for the legendary Jersey Devil. But only one man came out alive! It took the police two days to find the bodies and the coroner four days to put the pices back together again…
“The Last Broadcast” will carry a suggested retail price of $19.95.
