On August 16 a new online superstore, specialized on DVD-ROM will open its door on the Internet. Called DVDromshop.com the store is operated by Multimedia 2000, a publisher and distributor of DVD-ROMs. The store has been created in response to the dearth of products and information available for the burgeoning DVD-ROM format.

Today Multimedia 2000 announced a strategic partnership with Panasonic Disc Services Corporation to promote DVDromshop.com. In return for promotional consideration in the DVDromshop, Panasonic will make an investment and provide consultive services in order to help advance the online venture.

DVDromshop.com is scheduled to open for business on August 16.
