VideoScan is now also tracking K-Mart and Walmart
VideoScan, the company that tracks DVD sales among other things, is now able to also track sales data of K-Mart and Walmart, through entering a strategic alliance with a leading provider of sales and marketing information for packaged goods.
Now VideoScan has access to data of more than 40.000 retail locations nationwide and the new data will be incorporated into the overall VideoScan Management Information System. This should allow VideoScan to produce the most encompassing tracking and reporting system of the retail sales of video products, creating a most complete picture of the state, as well as the competitive landscape of the video industry.
