Warner Home Video has just announced a partnership to promote DVD’s ability to
play on personal computers and laptops equipped with DVD-ROM drives. If you
buy Microsoft Windows 98 during November and December at participating outlets,
such as Best Buy, you will also receive a free Warner Home Video DVD.
Customers will be able to chose from 10 different releases, including “L.A.
Confidential”, “WIlly Wonka”, “U.S. Marshals” and “City Of Angels”.

The partnership will be supported with in-store promotions and in addition,
Warner Home Video will place Windows 98 promo spots on a number of upcoming
DVD video releases, such as “Lethal Weapon 4” and “The Negotiator”.
