Eagerly awaited, Columbia Home Video are currently preparing this summer’s blockbuster Godzilla for a DVD release on November 3, as we had reported earlier already. Now the final details about the release have landed on our desks. The Godzilla disc will present the film in its theatrical widescreen aspect ratio and conatin additional features, such as an audio commentary track by Special Effects Supervisor Volker Engel, a photo gallery, the theatrical teaser trailers and the full-length theatrical trailer for the movie. It will also contain the trailers for the classic early Godzilla films “Godzilla vs. Mothra and “Godzilla vs. King Gidhora”. The disc will further include cast & crew biographies and filmographies, as well as a “Making Of Godzilla” featurette and a “Godzilla Take New York” photo feature. Wheeewww… it’s a huge beast and it’s a huge disc.
