With their September 29 release line-up of Carrie, Leviathan, Logan’s Run, Lord Of Illusion and Westworld – see our VSDA report for more details – MGM have also announced re-packaged versions of the Clint Eastwood classic Hang ‘Em High and Thelma & Louise. As all their re-packaged versions, these films will now also come in a durable Amaray case with an 8-page booklet containing production notes and other additional information to meet MGM’s quality standards
MGM have also delayed the release of Dr. Zhivago until early 1999. Reportedly the company was not happy with the master, which caused them to go back to square one.
