To celebrate the movie’s 35th Anniversary, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has just announced the upcoming 4K debut of Gremlins, bringing Joe Dante’s beloved horror comedy to 4K UHD in October.

Gremlins is a wildly original roller-coaster ride of hilarious mischief.  One minute your hair will stand on end, the next you’ll hold your sides with laughter at the havoc these supposedly gentle furballs create when the rules surrounding their care and feeding are inadvertently broken one fateful Christmas.  Written by Chris Columbus and directed by Joe Dante, Gremlins unleashes special effects that dazzle and enchant and merriment that lingers in the memory.

Arriving as a combo pack that also includes a Blu-Ray and DigitalHD version, Gremlins will also contain a solid number of bonus features, including a Commentary Track with Director Joe Dante, Producer Michael Finnell and Special Effects Artist Chris Walas, as well as a separate Cast Commentary Track with Director Joe Dante, Zack Galligan, Phoebe Cates, Dick Miller, and Howie Mandel.
Additional Scenes with Commentary will also be included, along with the Featurettes ”Gremlins: Behind the Scenes” and ·   Cute.  Clever.  Mischievous.  Intelligent: Making Gremlins.
