Fans of “Death Proof” know the car and the chase were heavily inspired by the 1971 epic car chase movie Vanishing Point. The classic film will join the Blu-ray ranks early next year thanks to Fox.

The film is presented in DTS-HD 5.1 with featurettes, a trivia track, BonusView, two versions of the film available through seamless branching, TV spots and an audio commentary with director Richard Sarafian.

With a $34.99 price tag, the film hits the streets on February 24th.
