Long rumored, the Firefly film Serenity is making the leap from HD-DVD to Blu-ray thanks to Universal. The disc won’t be a straight port either.
The new film comes with a 1080p presentation with DTS-HD Master Audio allong with an Alliance Database, U Control features, BD Live, two commentaries, deleted scenes, the featurettes What’s In a Firefly, Re-Lighting the Firefly, A Filmmaker’s Journey and We’ll Have a Fruity Oaty Good Time!, extended scenes, a tour of Serenity, The Green Clan and Session 416.

Enjoy it Firefly fans. The Blu-ray arrives on December 30th.
