Universal Home Entertainment has just added The Boy Next Door to its roster, scheduling this provocative thriller for release on Blu-Ray Disc and DVD in April.

Jennifer Lopez stars as Claire Peterson, a high-school literature teacher struggling to get back in the dating game after separating from her cheating husband while raising her adolescent son.  When handsome and charismatic 19-year-old Noah (Ryan Guzman) moves in next door, Claire has a moment of weakness that leads to an intimate night together.  Noah’s attraction quickly turns into a violent obsession, threatening to tear apart Claire’s world and endanger the people she loves.

The Blu-Ray and DVD versions will be identical in terms of bonus features, and both will contain a Commentary Track with Director Rob Cohen, as well as Deleted Scenes. A Making-of Featurette will also be included on these discs.

“The Boy Next Door” arrives in stores on April 28 with a $34.98 sticker price for the Blu-Ray version and a $29.98 price tag for the DVD version.
