Ulysses sets out to sea again this fall
Lionsgate is preparing a new DVD version of the 1954 epic Ulysses starring Kirk Douglas.
In Homer’s epic, Ulysses (Kirk Douglas) journeys home to Ithaca after 10 years of war. Along the way, the hero battles a Cyclops, resists the fatal singing of the Sirens, and enjoys a brief interlude with a seductive enchantress. Years later, he returns to his wife, who has long thought him dead, and must master one final challenge.
The release will feature a widescreen presentation of the classic movie with Dolby Digital 5.1 audio. No extras will be included on the release.
“Ulysses” makes his way home on October 28 with a friendly $14.98 sticker price attached.
