The films of Stanley Kubrick were early entries into the Blu-ray world, but a few key films are still waiting for the high def upgrade. Now Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying And Love The Bomb is coming to Blu-ray from Sony.

No supplements are announced for the film, nor are any details on whether the film will keep it’s varying aspect ratios when it arrives. But it will arrive; specifically it will arrive on December 9th with a suggested retail price of $28.95.
