Warner Home Video has finally set a date for the Blu-Ray Disc release of Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines – the third entry in the “Terminator” series starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Nick Stahl, Claire Danes, and Kristanna Loken.

The film picks up years after the events of “Terminator 2” and focuses on the rise of Cyberdine, despite the efforts of Sarah and John Connor in the second flick. This time around, a new Terminator model has been sent to ensure Cyberdine comes to power. But far be it from the future to forget to send another reprogrammed T-800 to help John set things right. The sequel ratchets up the action and even sets a bleak tone for things to come.

This Blu-Ray release will feature the first Picture-in-Picture In Movie Experience commentary on the format. It also includes the extras that appeared on the HD DVD release, such as the Commentary Tracks, Featurettes, Gag Reels, a look at the film’s Storyboards, and the Theatrical Trailer.

“Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines” is scheduled to make its debut on Blu-Ray on December 4 for $28.99.
