The big speculation on television product is the upcoming relesae of the NBC hit Heroes. The freshman series will arrive in August on DVD and HD-DVD in August.

The first season will contain all the episodes of the series in anamorphic widescreen and Dolby Digital 5.1 sound while the HD-DVD version will contain high def transfers and Dolby Digital Plus 5.1 There are no extras announced yet, but with all the commentaries, comic books etc already available on the shows web page, expect an amazing set. This may be the one to convince me to get an HD-DVD player.

The DVD arrives on August 28th for $59.98 while the HD set comed for $99.98.
