NATO pleads for an end to uncut editions
The last couple of years have seen a rise in dubious DVD releases marketed as Unrated; usually adding a couple of scenes to a movie and not submitting it to the MPAA. The National Association of Theatre Owners urged studios to stop flaunting a disregard for the Motion Picture Association of America’s guidelines. IT’s unknown if any studios will heed this plea.
