Yesterday we reported about an upcoming “wireless” remote control for the Playstation 2 that will find its way into the market, and not be outdone by the competition, another company today just announced “wireless” remote controls for Playstation 2 in a press release that was practically illegible due to its unaesthetic formatting. I’ll still try to get the essence out of it for you.

Eleven Engineering has just announced new items in their Airplay family of products. Airplay 2 is a wireless controller that features the same functionality as the dual analog and shock controllers used for Playstation consoles. On top of that it offers control of Playstation 2’s DVD movie playback. The remote control will be released during the fourth quarter when Playstation 2 will also officially be launched in the US market.
