Blue Velvet

MGM Home Entertainment has hidden an Easter Egg on their release of the cultish “Blue Velvet” that perfectly matches the morbid humor of the film itself.

Go the disc’s main menu where you will see a number of menu selections. Position the highlight on “Play Movie” and then press the left arrow key on your remote control. This brings up an entirely new menu entry called “Strange World” in the upper half of the screen. Press “Enter” now and you will be taken to an interesting collage of scenes from the movie, combined with interesting messages that plays like a whacked-out commercial for the city of Lumberton.
