We just got information in that Artisan Entertainment has scheduled this summer’s dark horror thriller Stir Of Echoes starring Kevin Bacon for release on home video on February 1. The release will be day and date on VHS and DVD, and once again, it is obvious that the DVD has much more to offer than the video tape.

Artisan Entertainment will pack the DVD with some special features, like a commentary track with director David Koepp, and members of the film’s cast. But also a documentary will also be part of this release, as well as extensive behind-the-scenes footage. “Stir Of Echoes” will come as 16×9 enhanced anamorphic widescreen presentation with a 5.1 channel Dolby Digital soundtrack.
