Based on the original Superdimensional Fortress Macross, which was used as
the basis for the 1980s TV series Robotech, “Macross Plus” is set
approximately thirty years after the original Macross and just before the
events in the Japanese TV series Macross 7.

Nominated by the International Animated Film Society, ASIFA-Hollywood, for
an Annie Award for “Outstanding Achievement in an Animated Home Video
Production,” “Macross Plus” is a technical marvel. It is complemented by a riveting soundtrack that adds depth and emotion to the action-packed Top Gun-like animation.
