In interesting, though somewhat unrelated news, MGM yesterday unveiled plans about a new Rocky movie. Sylvester Stallone will come back to write, direct and star in Rocky VI, the first sequel since 1990 and almost a quarter of a century since the Oscar-winning original film opened in 1976.

During a phone conference MGM vice chairman Chris McGurk said the latest “Rocky” would be a low-cost movie in the style of the original film, which made Stallone a star and picked up a best picture Oscar.
