Columbia Home Video just announced the release of Baby Geniuses on DVD day & date with its VHS release on July 27.

This incredible comedy explores the question “What happens if all babys are born knowing the “secrets of the universe” and with the ability to speak with each other?” Starring Kathleen Turner and Christopher Lloyd this hilarious comedy will have you reeling on the floor.

The disc will contain a “Making Of” documentary, as well as a “Movie Magic” Special Effects featurette. Containing a Dolby Digital 5.1 and 2.0 soundtrack, “Baby Geniuses” is presented in a fullscreen transfer and carry a suggested retail price of $19.95.

Also coming on July 27 is Nicolas And Alexandra, the chronicle of the final years of the Romanov empire in an epic tale of the last Tsar of Russia which was nominated for 6 Academy Awards, including “Best Picture”. The film ultimately won 2 Oscars and features an all-star cast of British stage and screen, including Laurence Olivier, Michael Redgrave and Janet Suzman.. The disc will contain the original 1971 10-minute featurette, as well as a full-length featurette never before seen on video. The disc will feature a Mono soundtrack and contain a 16×9 enhanced widescreen transfer of the film, carrying a suggested retail price of $24.95.
