Here’s Warner’s next $14.98 bargain line-up, and more…
Just when you thought we had it all, there’s always more. Together with the information about the Stanley Kubrick Collection announcement earlier this week, we also received information about Warner’s June line-up in their $14.98 bargain range. On June 22, Billy Jack, Just Cause, Cannonball Run 2, Sour Grapes, Power Of One and The Witches will hit the streets on DVD without extras. All disc will be pan & scan, except “Just Cause” and “Power Of One”.
Also in June we will see more releases from HBO, namely The Hitcher and Sweet Dreams, both priced at $24.98, in widescreen, with trailers. On June 22 then, New Line Home Video will release Murder In The First at a suggested retail price of $19.98, containing a widescreen and pan & scan version, as well as Hurly Burly in a Platinum Edition, containing a widescreen and pan & scan presentation at a $24.98 price point. This Special Edition will also contain the film’s trailer, 2 audio commentaries by Sean Penn, director Anthony Drazen, writer David Rabe, and many more supplements.
