New trailers to the upcoming Star Wars: The Phantom Menace will hit theaters nationwide this weekend. It is expected the new, longer trailer will run in front of the scifi opera Wing Commander but screenings to open up other films are also most likely. So make plans to catch a movie this weekend if you haven’t done so yet if you want to see this trailer on the big screen. Chow-Yun Fat’s The Corruptor would certainly make a good choice, although it’s questionable it will actually feature the Star Wars trailer.

Obviously Entertainment Tonight has also gained access to the new Episode-1 trailer and will be showing it as part of their programming on Wednesday night. Chances are, this presentation might be even before the official unveiling of the new trailer at ShoWest on the very same day.
