Warner Music expands DVD releases
As a result of the dramatic growth of the DVD format in recent months, Warner Bros. Records Inc. will be furthering its commitment to the DVD platform with a release slate of between 15 and 20 titles in 1999.
Warner owns and exercises the rights over a vast music home video library and the first titles of the increased output wil hit the streets as early as March, including videos by artists such as Madonna, Eric Clapton, Frank Sinatra and others. New additions to the release schedule are Paul Simon’s “Graceland The African Concert” and Rod Stewart’s “Storyteller 1984 – 1991”, slated for release on March 23.
