We just got information about a number of exciting upcoming DVD releases from Paramount Home Video, currently scheduled for release on March 30. As we reported earlier already, the list contains the video debut of The Rugrats Movie in both widescreen and pan&scan, day&date with its VHS counterpart at a suggested retail price of $29.99. Things are getting even better though, as the release line-up also contains films like Cecil B. DeMille’s monumental classic The Ten Commandments starring Charlton Heston on 2 discs with a Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtrack. The release carries a suggested retail price of $34.99. Then there are the Richard Gere starrer Days Of Heaven and the Denny Kaye musical/comedy The Court Jester, both priced at $29.99.

All films will be released in their widesceen aspect ratios and according to our source, Paramount has heard the word on the street and is supposedly preparing to release these films as 16×9 enhanced discs. Of course we will keep you posted as soon as more information becomes available.
