Did you enjoy Curtis Hanson’s award winning feature film L.A. Confidential as
much as we did? If yes, you will be pleased to hear that HBO has just committed
to do 13 1-hour episodes based on “L.A. Confidential” for Warner Brothers.

Rather than pick up where the original film about police corruption in the
glamorous 50’s Los Angeles left off, the mini series will start 8 years
before the events in the atmospheric movie. Production is expected to
start later this year in Los Angeles without involvement of the movie’s
director Curtis Hanson.
