Pioneer Entertainment has just signed an extensive agreement with Artisan Home entertainment giving Pioneer access to 100 titles from Artisan’s film library for release on DVD.

“Asteroid”, the 1997 TV miniseries starring Michael Biehn and Annabella Sciorra is the first title to be released as early as November 11.
Other titles will be Bob Rafelson’s 1990 adventure film “Mountains Of The Moon”, the 1983 film “Eddie And The Cruisers” starring Tom Berenger, and others. The titles released by Pioneer wil carry a suggested retail price between $19.98 and $24.98.

Pioneer Entertainment is aggressively working on expanding its DVD catalog these days and picking up Artisan’s titles might be only one step in that direction.
