Amblin films are finally coming to DVD
The Hollywood Reporter announced the other day that Universal Home Video have
finally been greenlighted by Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Entertainment to release
a number of Amblin titles on DVD. According to the magazine, the line-up includes
Collector’s Editons of 1941, The Flintstones and Back to the Future, as well as
regular releases of films like The Little Rascals – which we had announced in
detail earlier already – How to Make an American Quilt, Batteries Not Included,
Back to the Future II, The Money Pit, Always and Harry and the Hendersons.
Universal has also slated Steven Spielberg’s directorial debut, Duel, for release
on DVD at some point.
