On MGM Home Entertainment’s Special Edition release of the post-apocalyptic John Carpenter actioner “Escape From New York, ” the studio has hidden an additional gem for you to uncover.

Insert the second disc of the DVD set and on the Main Menu, highlight the menu entry “Deleted Scenes.” Now, press the “Right” arrow key on your remote control to highlight the New York City skyline. Press “Enter” now and you will have the chance to listen to a radio commercial for “Escape From New York.”
