Universal Home Entertainment has added Stephen Sommers’ action adventure horror homage Van Helsing to their Blu-Ray Disc schedule, preparing the film for release in September.

Legendary monster hunter Van Helsing (Hugh Jackman) is summoned to mysterious Transylvania on a mission that will thrust him into a sweeping battle against the forces of darkness! With non-stop action and electrifying special effects, Van Helsing is an adrenaline-powered motion picture event that is every bit as exciting as it is charming.

The film will be presented in a 1080p high definition transfer with a DTS 5.1 HD Master Audio track to boot.

“Van Helsing” arrives on Blu-Ray on September 15 for $26.98.
