Buena Vista Home Entertainment has just added M. Night Shyamalan’s film Signs, starring Mel Gibson and Joaquim Phoenix, to their Blu-Ray line-up, preparing it for a June release.

“Signs” is the story of the Hess family in Bucks County, Pennsylvania where one morning they wake up to find a 500-foot crop circle in their backyard. Graham Hess (Mel Gibson) and his family are told extraterrestrials are responsible for the sign in their field. They watch the news as crop circles are soon found all over the world.

Featuring a 1080p high definition transfer of the movie with a 5.1 PCM audio track, reproducing the original uncompressed master audio track of the film. In addition, the Blu-Ray version will contain all the extras found on the previous DVD release, such as a selection of Deleted Scenes, and the Six-part Documentary in which Shyamalan explores the making of the film in detail.

“Signs” can be seen in high definition on June 6 for $34.99.
