Buena Vista Home Entertainment has also announced details for their release of Desperate Housewives: The Complete First Season.

The hotly anticipated TV show will make its DVD debut as a 6-disc DVD set brimming with secrets and bonus materials, just before ABC is launching the show’s second season on TV. The DVD set will contain unrated versions of the episodes and offer up Deleted Scenes, a Commentary Track by series creator Marc Cherry, a number of Featurettes, a look at the show’s sassy Costume Design and more.

“Desperate Housewives: The Complete First Season” will be in stores on September 20 with a $59.95 price tag attached to it, in widescreen with 5.1 Dolby Digital sound.
