Buena Vista Home Entertainment will be giving the history lesson on film a second chance when The Alamo is released to DVD in September.

Presented in anamorphic widescreen, the audio will be in Dolby Digital 5.1. The featurettes “Return of a Legend: the Making of the Alamo, ” “Walking in the Footprints of Heroes” and “Deep in the Heart of Texans” are included along with deleted scenes with optional commentary and theatrical trailers.

The suggested retail price of $29.95 will be attached to the title which will street on September 28th.
