Batman: The Animated Series gets a box set
The 1992 series Batman: The Animated Series left the airwaves five years ago, but still influences the superhero cartoons of today. The brooding series has been randomly released over the years, but now is finally getting a proper box set from Warner Brothers Home Entertainment.
The four disc set will contain the first twenty-eight episodes of the series in fullscreen and Dolby Surround 2.0, the set will also include audio commentaies from Bruce Timm, Paul Dini & Eric Rodomski along with the featurette “Batman: The Legacy Continues”.
Hopefully the rest of the series will follow behind. The set will have a suggested retail price of $49.98 and will emerge from the shadows on July 6th.
