Although the expensive sci-fi comedy The Adventures of Pluto Nash lost a good deal of money in its theatrical run, Warner Brothers Home Entertainment is optimistic the upcoming DVD release will help recoup some of its investment.

Pluto Nash owns the hippest nightclub around; hippest atmosphere, hippest clientele, and hippest location; the moon. But when the mafia takes interest in his club, Nash must do everything it takes to keep control of his claim.

The upcoming DVD will be presented in anamorphic widescreen and will contain audio in Dolby Digital 5.1. The disc will also contain deleted footage, the “Ain’t No Need” music video and a theatrical trailer.

Arriving on Christmas Eve, Pluto Nash will carry a suggested retail price of $26.95.
