Many Americans saw Jean Reno this summer in the time-traveling comedy, Just Visiting. But far fewer have seen him in the original French film on which it was based. The Visitors is about to become more accessible here when it comes to DVD from Buena Vista Home Entertainment.

A medieval nobleman and his squire are accidentally transported to contemporary times by a senile sorcerer. He enlists the aid of his descendent to try to find a way to return home, all the while trying to cope with the cultural and technological changes distinguishing his time from ours.

“The Visitors” will be transferred with an anamorphic widescreen transfer, and Dolby Digital 2.0 Surround track. No supplemental materials have been announced for this disc, but it will be available on September 25th.
