On Criterion’s DVD treatment of “Louie Bluie, ” the studio included a little extra also.

To find it, go to the DVD’s Main Menu and from there go to the “Supplements.” In this section, go to the “Unused Footage” section, forward to the second page and then press the “Up” arrow key on your remote control. This will highlight the two Os in the word “footage.” Now, press “enter” and you will hear an intro by Terry Zweigoff followed by excerpts from reel-to-reel tapes that Howard “Louie Bluie” Armstrong found at a flea market, including some very explicit tips on sexual technique.
