The first season of the Amy Poehler comedy Parks and Recreation is coming to DVD this fall from Universal Home Entertainment in time for the second season to begin on NBC.

In this hilarious TV comedy series, the cameras follow Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler) a mid-level bureaucrat in the Parks and Recreation Department of Pawnee, Indiana while she attempts to beautify her town and advance her career.

The new DVD set includes Deleted Scenes, a Gag Reel and Audio Commentaries for all six episodes from the first season.

The set arrives on September 8th with a $29.98 suggested retail price.
