Greetings, Starfighter. You have been recruited by the Star League to defend the frontier against Xur and the Ko-Dan armada. Or at the very least to pick up The Last Starfighter when it arrives on Blu-ray later this year.

The disc comes with many of the features from the DVD including an audio commentary with Nick Castle and Ron Cobb, the Heroes of the Screen featurette and the Crossing the Frontier: Making the Last Starfighter documentary along with an image gallery and trailers. BD-Live content will be included, but perhaps the most interesting upgrade is the 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio track since the existing DVDs use only the simple stereo tracks.

The disc arrives on August 4th for $29.98.
