While the eighth season of Scrubs is airing on it’s new home on ABC, the season has been announced for a DVD release later this year from Disney.

The set will include the entire – slightly shortened – season along with the webisodes following the adventures of the new interns, deleted scenes and outtakes and a featurette on the cast’s trip to The Bahamas. Good news for collectors of the series is that that the change in show format has resulted in only minimal changes to package design, so the DVD box will fit nicely on your shelves. Bad news is that the show’s first HD season will not be getting a Blu-ray release anytime soon.
