Warner Home Entertainment has some great news for Muppet fans. Sesame Stree: Follow That Bird 25th Anniversary Delixe Edition is coming to DVD later this year.

Big Bird attempts to find his way home while friends, Maria, Cookie Monster, Count von Count, Bert and Ernie, Grover, Oscar and several others, set out to find him. Along the way, Big Bird has several exciting adventures and meets a number of interesting characters, but he’s quick to remain on the move because he’s being pursued by the unrelenting Miss Finch. How can he convince her he’s truly happy living at Sesame Street, amongst his eclectic family?

Warner is bringing this true Sesame Street film to DVD with an anamorphic widescreen transfer, an interview with Caroll Spinney, jump to song options, a trailer and DVD-ROM content. Sadly, although Big Bird gets painted blue in this film, the disc won’t be. No Blu-ray announcement has come for this title.

On March 24th, the title arrives with a suggested retail price of $19.97.
