On the 2-disc DVD release of “Pieces” from Grindhouse Releasing you can also find some hidden features if you know just where to look for them. Fortunately, we can help with that.

Insert the first disc of the set in your player and on the Main Menu highlight the entry “Play Movie.” Now press the “Up” arrow key on your remote control and a chainsaw will appear. Press the “Enter” key now and you will see a clip of Eli Roth introducing the movie and make some post-screening comments at the Eli Roth Film Festival at the Beverly Cinemas in Hollywood.

From the disc’s Main Menu go to the “Features” section now and from there enter the “Vine Theater Experience.” Now highlight the entry “Audio Option” and press the “Up” arrow key on your remote control to highlight another chainsaw icon. Press “enteR” now and you will be treated to a 36-second unedited trailer for the movie.

Now it is time to insert the second disc in your player. On the Main Menu select “Interviews” and on the following screen, highlight the menu entry that reads “Main Menu.” Now press the “Up” arrow key on your remote to bring up yet another chainsaw, and confirm it with the “Enter” button to see a 15-second behind the scenes segment with Paul Smith from his interview for the DVD.
