The Complete Matrix Trilogy, the “smaller” set which will retail for $99.99 will contain all the films with the following supplements:
The Matrix comes with an In-Movie Experience interactive viewing mode. Also, four seperate commentaries are included (one with philosophers Dr. Cornel West and Ken Wilber, one with critics Todd McCarthy, John Powers and David Thomson, one with cast and crew with Carrie-Anne Moss, Zach Staenberg and John Gaeta and one with composer Don Davis with a music only track) and a written introduction from The Wachowski Brothers, seven featurettes; Making The Matrix, The Dance of the Master: Yuen Wo Ping’s Blocking Tapes, The Bathroom Fight and Wet Wall, The Code of the Red Dress, The Old Exit: Wabash and Lake, Agen Down and But Wait – There’s More, The Music Revisited, a music video, a teaser, a trailer and eight television spots.
The Matrix Reloaded also comes with In-Movie Experience, two commentaries (philosophers and critics), a written introduction with the brothers, the featurettes The Matrix Unfolds, Pre-Load, Get Me an Exit and The MTV Movie Awards Reloaded, Enter The Matrix: The Game, Enter The Matrix scenes, a music video, a teaser, a trailer and eight television spots.
The Matrix Revolutions comes with In-Movie Experience, two more commentaries with philosophers and critics, a written introduction by the brothers, the featurettes Revolutions Recalibrated, Neo Realism: The Evolution of Bullet Time, CG Revolution, Super Big Mini Models, Super Burly Brawl, Double Agent Smith, Mind Over Matter: The Physicality of The Matrix and Future Gamer: The Matrix Online a trailer and six television spots.
OK, that’s the “barebones edition”, the ultimate set also conains some more features for each film.
The Matrix contains the documentary The Matrix Revisited and the featurettes What is Bullet Time?, What is the Concept?, Trinity Escapes, Pod, Kung Fu, The Wall, Bathroom Fight, Government Lobby, Government Roof, Helicopter and Subway.
