From the stone age to the space age, the off kilter animation of Hanna Barbera have kept kids glued to the tv for 50 years. Yogi Bear, The Flintstones, The Jetsons, Snagglepus, Wally Gator, Space Ghost and of course the still popular Scooby-Doo along with countless hundreds of other characters could easily entertain us in th emost ridiculous of situations – (even that super scary episode of the Flintstones where they’re kidnapped and taken to a mysterious island). Joe Barbera passed away last night at the age of 95.

Thank you sir for so many wintery afternoons in a warm house with Quick Draw on the TV screen. It was the perfect place.
