BCI has become the standard for releasing animated series on DVD starting with the Masters of the Universe sets. Now BCI is going back, in a sense, with the release of the short-lived 1990 cartoon The New Adventures of He-Man.

The first 33 episodes of the series will be included in the set. According to the folks over at tvshowsondvd.com, the set comes with two documentaries, character profiles, trivia, an art gallery, easter eggs, an episode guide booklet, art cards, trailers and DVD-ROM content.

The day after Christmas is an unusual time to release DVDs, but The New Adventures of He-Man will arrive on December 26th.
