Buena Vista Home Entertainment is ready to bring to DVD the story of America’s favorite little girls in Disney’s Child Star: The Shirley Temple Story.

A contemporary retelling of the story of one of the most beloved child stars ever, Shirley Temple. The film spans her career from her discovery by a studio executive at age 3 throughout her early teen years.

Presented in its original fullscreen, the special will receive a new Dolby Digital 5.1 audio track and will feature an audio commentary with executive director Melissa Joan Hart.

Premiering on December 18th, the story of a little girl will come priced at $29.99.
