Rimage Corporation [Nasdaq:RIMG] and imix.com today announced a strategic partnership through which imix.com will use Rimage equipment to offer its customers the world’s first customizable DVD-Rs.

At imix.com, customers will be able to build their own customized music-video DVDs by selecting songs from a music video library. imix.com is using the Rimage Protege DVD-R publisher—the industry’s first DVD publisher—to record and label the DVDs quickly and efficiently.

imix.com has expanded its on-demand DVD offerings to include cult movie classics, and will expand to include classic television programs, and a full library of contemporary music videos. This content will be available for consumer use at the end of the summer.
