Future Disc Systems opens studio for DVD audio and video encoding
Future Disc Systems, a mastering facility, announced today that it is now mastering DVD projects and will soon be ready for Surround Sound. In preparation for this business, Future Disc has completed Studio 7, a new DVD suite for DVD audio and video encoding, and is preparing Studio 6 for high-resolution digital audio and Surround Sound mastering, following some major investements in response to client demands.
Future Disc Systems is also gearing up the mastering process and is working with several high-end equipment manufacturers to prepare Studio 6, for Surround Sound. When finished it will have the ability to create 24-bit 192khz multi-channel Surround Sound masters.
Future Disc Systems is a music-mastering facility with seven state-of-the-art studios that incorporate full 24-bit digital mastering, HDCD® processing and Sonic Solutions editing. The company supports all music media formats, including compact disc (CD), cassette, vinyl and DVD.
